Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss
in Ireland today. If your gums bleed when you brush or floss, then it is likely you are suffering from gum disease. If there is a build up of plaque ( bacterial film on the teeth) or hard tartar ( hardened plaque) on the teeth, then 'gum' treatment is indicated scale and polish / root-planing / periodontal treatment.
